Conference theme

Professional careers interventions can have a hugely positive impact on the individual, the economy and society, and at the conference we’ll be exploring how career development supports the 17 United Nations' sustainability goals under the themes of:

  • Decent Work and Sustainable Economic Activity (labour market)
  • Education
  • Social Equity
  • Peace and Justice
  • Health and Well-being
  • Environment

Schedule

The main conference will run in three sessions across two days and each session will focus on two of the United Nations' goals:

  • 9th December morning: Decent Work and Sustainable Economic Activity / Education
  • 9th December afternoon: Social Equity / Peace & Justice
  • 10th December morning: Health and Well-being / Environment

The CDI AGM will take place on the afternoon of 10th December and is open to CDI members only. It will be followed by the installation of Carolyn Parry as the new CDI President, which is open to everyone to attend.

Bringing in the clients' voice

At this year’s conference, we want to complement the wide range of thought leaders and experts with the voice of your clients. We’re looking for short client videos that share the difference your support made to their career and life journey. As well as being practitioners, some of you may have been clients yourselves, and we’d love to hear your story.

Find out how to record and submit your video here.

Here is an example from David Morgan, CEO of the CDI.
