If practitioners holding this qualification wish to progress to the UK Register of Career Development Professionals they then need to undertake a full QCF Level 6 or above qualification.
This qualification is of relevance to practitioners whose role involves providing career guidance and development to clients.

This CDI qualification comprises the three units which those people who completed the NVQ Level 4 in Guidance/Advice and Guidance/LDSS before 2011 take if they want to meet the qualification requirement for the UK Register of Career Development Professionals. The three units, 2, 3 & 6 can be either from 10215 or 04664.
This does not apply to people who hold the QCF Level 4 (NVQ) Diploma in Advice and Guidance who would need to undertake a full QCF Level 6 or above qualification to meet the Register qualification requirement
Units: Lead and manage career development work in an organisation; Continuously improve career development work in an organisation and Plan and design career-related learning programmes
This CDI qualification is aimed at people who manage career development work in a school or college.
All QCF units can be taken as either individual units as CPD or can be taken together as a whole qualification.
