CDI Board and Committees
The CDI is governed by a Board of Directors, who set strategy and monitor progress on behalf of members. In addition, the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee is responsible for the Code of Ethics and complaints procedure, as well as managing the CDI's guidance on ethical and professional practice.

CDI Board of Directors
Led by the President and Chair, the CDI Board members are a mixture of elected representatives of the membership, appointed Directors by the Board and individuals co-opted by the Board for their specific experience or skills. Meet the Board and view the minutes of past Board meetings.
Ethics and Professional Standards Committee
The EPSC is a standing committee of the CDI. It comprises a Chair, members representing geographical and professional constituencies and the Head of Professional Development and Standards. It is responsible for the CDI Code of Ethics and ensuring we operate to the highest professional standards.
Finance and Risk Committee
The Finance and Risk Committee provides an additional level of scrutiny to the CDI's financial performance and management of risks faced by the organisation.
The committee meets quarterly, usually before the main Board meetings, and looks in more depth at the monthly and annual accounts, as well as key financial issues, making recommendations to the Board.
CDI Members' Advisory Council
The CDI Members' Advisory Council ensures a strong connection between the CDI leadership and its membership. The Council comprises the President, Honorary Secretary, Chief Executive, Project Associates for Scotland and Wales and the Regional Representatives across England.
