CDI EPSC membership updates following recent elections
Many CDI members will be aware that we have just held a round of elections for a range of representatives on EPSC.
I am delighted to welcome some new members onto the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee (EPSC), and I would like to say thank you to some members who are now stepping down.
Long serving EPSC members Luisa Moreno, Beth Urquhart, Jacqui Phipps and Hannah Cortney-Bennett have all contributed to the work of EPSC over recent years. Their contributions have been incredibly important in the development of the work of EPSC including the revised Code of Ethics and the recently published client version of the Code of Ethics plus articles, case studies and webinar delivery. I would like to thank them all for their commitment not just to the work of EPSC but to the development and promotion of our profession and sector.
A warm welcome to our new EPSC members-
Tracy Harris representing career guidance / coaching in the public sector including educational establishments.
Valerie Rowles representing career guidance / coaching in the private sector.
Larry Hansen representing Scotland.
Sue Edwards has been re-elected to represent Professional Development including training / research/ sector development.
Cordelia Wise who has agreed to serve a second term on EPSC having been unopposed in the recent elections.
I am sure our new members / re-elected members will help EPSC further develop our support and engagement with CDI members.
You can find out more about the work of EPSC and who represents the constituency most closely aligned to your career development work, on the EPSC webpage or you can contact me as Chair of EPSC
