CDI launch new resources on Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs)
The CDI has launched two new resources as part of the Technical Education Programme, funded by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation. A new video and a written resource provide an in-depth look at Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs).
The brand-new video on HTQs is specifically aimed at careers professionals to raise awareness of this Post-18 option. Filmed at Stoke-on-Trent and Stafford Institute of Technology, the video covers what HTQs are, who they are aimed at and features a student undertaking an HTQ qualification as part of a higher apprenticeship.
Our new ‘Higher Technical Qualifications Guide – key things careers professionals needs to know’ further explores these level 4/5 qualifications. This detailed resource outlines the benefits of HTQs, where they can be studied, how they are funded, subjects on offer and progression routes available to students who have undertaken this route.
Created in partnership with Amazing Apprenticeships, these resources are useful for raising awareness of the range of pathways at Post-18.
