CICA updates Career Development Standards for Australia

The Career Industry Council of Australia has updated its Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners, guiding the qualifications, professional practice and continuing professional development of the sector.

Updates to the standards include reflections of current career development practice, ethical and culturally sensitive approaches, expectations for professional learning and recognising the changes emerging in the workforce and the use of technology.

The Career Development Association Australia (CDAA) has created a summary of the changes to help practitioners meet the new professional standards.
