Catch-up on webinar on supporting adults with careers guidance
The recording of a webinar hosted by the International Centre for Guidance Studies (iCeGS) exploring international research on career development for adults in work is now available.
The webinar built on recent research by iCeGS funded by the Gatsby Foundation which looked at approaches to supporting adults across a range of countries. This included careers guidance provided in workplaces, communities and by trade unions. It also examined the role of digital tools and links to education and training.
The webinar gave an introduction to the project, the research approach taken, insights from the countries studied, key findings and recommendations for careers guidance in England, and closed with how Gatsby are looking to put the evidence into practice, including by developing and testing new approaches.
