Call for webinar and article proposals on Local Authority-funded practice
The CDI is seeking proposals for CPD webinars and Career Matters articles that focus on issues of particular relevance to career development professionals working in local authority-funded services and with vulnerable or disadvantaged client groups.
We are keen to hear from practitioners, researchers, commissioners, academics, partner organisations and subject specialists who can share evidence-based practice, innovative approaches, case studies, research findings or practical tools that can support careers professionals in their work.
We welcome proposals for webinars and articles, and areas of particular interest include:
CPD webinars are typically an hour long, including audience questions. They usually provide practical and evidence-informed content and are aimed at career development professionals working across a range of settings.
Career Matters articles are 550 or 1,100 words long and focus on practical insights, effective practice, research, policy or innovation. They are ideal for topics that are relevant to CDI members and the wider career development community.
We are particularly interested in hearing from contributors who can bring lived experience perspectives, highlight effective partnership approaches, or demonstrate positive outcomes for vulnerable young people and adults.
If you have expertise in any of these areas and would be interested in contributing a webinar or article, please send a brief outline of your proposed topic to Oliver Jenkin at: [email protected].
