NFER webinar on skills policy and tertiary education – 11th February

NFER are hosting a webinar titled ‘The Tertiary Education Balancing Act – Can skills policy deliver growth without sacrificing choice and equity?’ on 11th February from 4pm to 5pm.

This free webinar will share the latest research from The Skills Imperative 2035, looking at labour market changes and future skills needs. It discusses how tertiary education can prepare young people for this future world of work, and the need to balance specialisation with choice, technical skills with transferable skills and higher technical education with traditional higher education.

Speakers include Luke Bocock from NFER, Professor Chris Husbands from Education Policy Institute and Vice Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University, John Laramy CBE from Exeter College, Richard Clewley from West Midlands Combined Authority and Helen Smith from the University of Sheffield.
