New CDI-Trotman books published in November

In November, two new books will be added to the titles published under the CDI’s partnership with Trotman, adding to the six titles already produced.

The partnership aims to add to the resources available to members of the profession, and existing books cover everything from careers theory to sustainable careers, coaching for midlife to a guide to research.

The first new title, available from 4th November, is by the CDI’s EDI Associate Ifza Shakoor and is titled ‘Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Career Development’. It outlines how we can make career development a truly inclusive profession, with insights from lived experiences, an EDI framework built for the career development sector and practical toolkits.

The second book, available for pre-order now, is ‘The Career Development Professional’s Survival Guide’ by Jules Benton and Chris Tragett. It is written to offer real-world strategies and case studies to help you improve your practice and raise client impact, and contains hand tools for your work.

You can order these and any of the books in the CDI series from the Trotman website.
