In-person event on technical education and qualifications reform: 14th July

The CDI is hosting a professional development day for Careers Advisers on technical education pathways and Post-16 qualifications reform. In partnership with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG), the event will be held at the Newcastle-under-Lyme site on Tuesday 14th July, 10-3pm (lunch will be provided).

Open to all Careers Advisers in England, the event will include workshops on apprenticeships, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs). We will also look at recent qualifications reform, including V Levels and new level 2 pathways and how this impacts on the advice and guidance that young people need. A tour of college facilities will be included, with a focus on T Level provision.

This event has been organised as part of the CDI’s Technical Education Programme, and is free for all to attend, thanks to funding from the Gatsby Charitable Foundation.
