Jobs and Skills Australia published the last part of their analysis into the impact of Gen AI on the workforce, showing varied levels of adoption and impacts across the workforce.
It cites a key factor in whether Gen AI has a positive or negative effect for workers is their ability to adapt to changes in their occupation, in particularly their ability to use technology and AI tools in their work. This in turn may be affected by their personal characteristics and circumstances.
The report states that it is critical that there is a growing intersectional focus on analysis to help understand the impacts of Gen Ai on different parts of the population.
