Call for proposals to evaluate the CDI Technical Education Programme

The Career Development Institute’s Technical Education Programme has been in place since 2023, to support careers advisers in keeping up to date with technical education pathways, namely apprenticeships, T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs). The Technical Education Programme is funded and supported by the Gatsby Charitable Foundation.

To date, the programme has delivered events including a series of webinars and attendance at conferences and created resources, including videos and written materials to support career advisers in their work with young people. A key resource to support careers advisers is the Technical Education Resource Hub, which has dedicated sections on each of the main technical education pathways, useful websites and ‘latest news’ updates.

As we approach the end of the programme, we are inviting research organisations to carry out an evaluation of the programme and to gather insights into whether careers advisers’ awareness of technical education pathways has increased over the past three years.

It is expected that the contract value for this work will be £20 000, excluding VAT.

Interested parties should contact Kim Newman, the CDI’s Technical Education Programme Manager for an informal discussion and to receive the full written brief. The deadline for the receipt of proposals is Friday 3 July.
