FT ranking of best employers in 2026
The FT and Statista published the second UK Best Employers ranking listing 500 companies. Based on a survey of 20,000 employees, the results reflect their views on working conditions, salary, development opportunities and company image.
For the second year, healthcare and social employers were the most represented, followed by education, IT and retail/wholesale. Of the 500 companies, 200 are based in London followed by Reading, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Bristol.
The top five employers were Cambridge University, Microsoft, Cancer Research UK, IBM and Adobe.
