The Careers and Enterprise Company have published their latest Employer Standards Briefing, ‘Employer Standards 2024/25: The business case for engaging in careers education’.
The briefing highlights that employer engagement in careers education can deliver tangible business benefits, creating stronger talent pipelines, reducing recruitment costs and widening diversity in early careers staff.
51% of employers were more likely to report more people being encouraged to apply for roles and 77% more likely to report business benefit generally. A consistent careers education engagement strategy leads to employers being 56% more likely to bring apprentices into their business.
