CPD topic: World Youth Skills Day
This one-hour webinar aims to give practitioners working with young people an overview of how global trends are likely to influence jobs and careers over the coming years. New opportunities will emerge but who will be best placed to access them and what will the implications be for those already facing disadvantage?
By looking at occupations both vertically and horizontally we will explore:
- Areas of growth and strength (and how these are influenced by global trends, government priorities and local policy).
- Risks and vulnerabilities – which jobs and careers will be most impacted by advances in automation and AI?
- How to apply this to your local labour market.
Target audience
This webinar is aimed at careers leaders and career development practitioners working with young people however it may also be suitable for professionals working with other client groups.
