Jacqui Hutchinson

Jacqui Hutchinson drives Building our Futures, RCVDA's primary careers programme funded by Dogger Bank Wind Farm, reaching over 10,000 children in Redcar and Cleveland. She builds school-business links, ensures SEND inclusion, and recently achieved Skills Builder Level 3. She brings creativity to STEM through author-led competitions and regeneration projects, boosting young people's confidence in their own futures, and has supported girls with maths confidence and boys with the move to secondary school. Dogger Bank calls her the lynchpin of this very successful programme.

Charley Lockie

Charley Lockie is Strategic Careers Lead for Bohunt Education Trust and Careers Lead at Bohunt Worthing. A qualified teacher and Level 7 Careers Lead/Adviser, she brings teaching, HR and SEND specialism to careers practice. Since 2024, she has rebuilt collaboration across 9 secondary schools, 3 sixth forms and 2 primaries, reaching 15,000 students. She raised the trust’s average Gatsby score from 4 to 6, introduced a needs-based CAP triage model, and ensured all students access meaningful workplace learning. Her work combines strategic leadership and deep commitment to equity.

Steve Newman is an independent careers practitioner working across Alternative, specialist and mainstream education settings, supporting young people facing complex barriers.Through a highly personalised, relational and collaborative approach, he brings people together to build a network of opportunity around every young person. His work has made a lasting difference for young people, delivered exceptional post-16 outcomes, influenced professional practice, sustainable systems, partnerships and inclusive approaches that continue to improve opportunities for future generations.
