Trotman - Meet the Author: Michael Larbalestier and Marianne Wilson

This webinar introduces the latest entry in the CDI's ongoing collaboration with Trotman Publishing, The Career Development Professional's AI Toolkit. In this session the book's authors, Michael Larbalestier and Marianne Wilson, will introduce the main themes of the book and the practical issues it addresses, and will outline some of the practical ways in which the book can assist careers professionals in navigating how to use AI ethically and effectively in their practice.

Speakers

Michael Larbalestier Project Associate (Digital Learning) for the CDI. He also works as a trainer and assessor for the CDI Academy, and co-runs the 'CDI’s AI for Career Development Practitioners' course with Marianne.

Marianne Wilson is completing PhD research sponsored by Skills Development Scotland. Her research explores methods for involving practitioners and clients in decisions about AI's role in career support services. She co-runs the 'CDI’s AI for Career Development Practitioners' course with Michael.
