Supervision: From reflection to revelation.

CPD theme: Boundaries, eithics and empowering clients

The session, led by Rachel Mallows and John Walker, will build on your understanding of the purpose of supervision, and how career development professionals should be accessing this on a regular basis and from an appropriate source.

By the end of the session, participants will have:

•    Explored the importance of listening for meaning and how this can help gain insight into practice outcomes.
•    Considered the role of emotional literacy within the supervision relationship.
•    Learned how to make use of supervision as a tool for exploring ethical aspects of practice.
•    Explored the use of a supervision model to understand the interplay between key elements within the supervision process.
•    Had an opportunity to reflect on and further practice supervision skills.

The webinar will be delivered by Rachel Mallows and John Walker, who are both experienced career development practitioners and authors of the CDI's Guidance on the Benefits and Delivery of Supervision in the Career Development Sector.
