The UK has a strong life sciences sector which is projected to grow over the coming years. Aimed at practitioners working with young people in schools and colleges, this webinar will give an overview of the sector including how global trends are shaping life sciences in the UK, the overlap with other sectors and the main opportunities for work. It will also look at skills needs and key pathways.

Target audience
This course is aimed at careers leaders and career development practitioners in England and Wales who work with young people, however most content will be relevant to a broader audience. 

Speaker
Helen Janota is a careers and labour market information consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the careers sector. A Chartered Information Professional and Registered Career Development Professional, Helen provides a range of CPD training and consultancy services for the careers and education sector across the UK. She is treasurer of the Careers Writer’s Association and has written and developed a wide variety of CEIAG resources and guides on local labour markets including for the National Careers Service.
