CEIAG in Practice: Moving Beyond the Basics

This session moves beyond the basic definitions of CEIAG to explore how it is actually delivered in practice and identify the gaps between theory and practice.

£50 for CDI members / £120 for non-members
While qualified practitioners understand careers education, information, advice and guidance, the reality is often shaped by time pressures, targets, and service models.

This workshop creates space to critically examine how CEIAG shows up across different settings, where practice may be drifting, and how to strengthen the depth and impact of guidance within real-world constraints.

Learning outcomes

•    Evaluate how CEIAG is currently delivered in their setting, including where it overlaps or becomes diluted.
•    Identify practical ways to strengthen guidance and better align interventions with client need.
