CPD topic: National Apprenticeship Week
The apprenticeships landscape has changed over recent years and apprenticeship standards don’t necessarily reflect opportunity availability. In this webinar we’ll explore apprenticeship opportunities from foundation and entry-level roles to Level 7: who’s taking them up, whether priorities are shifting, and why looking at them through a sectoral lens can be useful. The second part of the webinar will be a walk-through of two resources covering apprenticeship standards in England which can be useful in career exploration, and a quick look at different ways to search for vacancies.
Learning Outcomes
• Identify how apprenticeships support career pathways differently across at least three sectors
• Explain how apprenticeships contribute to filling skills gaps relating to Skills England’ priority sectors
• Review two resources covering apprenticeship standards in England
Target audience
This course is suitable for careers leaders and career development practitioners working with a range of clients.
