About Me

I am a dedicated Careers Leader committed to providing high-quality, impartial career development that empowers young people to navigate their futures with confidence. Holding the OCR Level 6 Qualification in Career Guidance and Development, I lead the strategic careers program at Chiltern Academy, ensuring all provision is robust, impactful, and fully aligned with the CDI Code of Ethics.
In my current role, I have focused on closing the opportunity gap through innovative programming and targeted support:
Modern Work Experience: Developed and launched a redesigned Work Experience programme, including a Key Stage 3 offer.
Scholarship Success: Championed and facilitated scholarship applications, successfully supporting students in securing prestigious educational opportunities.
NEET Reduction: Implemented data-driven interventions and personalised guidance that resulted in a significant reduction in NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) figures.
Specialist SEND/SEMH Delivery: Leveraged extensive experience in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs to ensure CEIAG is fully inclusive and accessible to students with varying learning difficulties.
My career is defined by a commitment to social mobility and I believe that effective career guidance is a catalyst for personal growth. I am passionate about equipping students with the tools to recognise their potential and the resilience to achieve a fulfilling career. I welcome collaboration with fellow practitioners and industry partners to further strengthen the link between the classroom and the workplace.
