About Me

As a Careers Adviser, I enjoy supporting young people to make informed decisions about their future. I have nineteen years experience working in careers services, education establishments and with young people who are not in education, employment and training. I use a variety of approaches to inspire and motivate students to develop their ideas and to formulate a plan of action. I am passionate about careers theory and the continuous development of my practice. As an Assessor and Trainer, I support, assess and train online groups who are studying the OCR Level 6 Career Guidance and Development Diploma and assess on the CEC funded Careers Leader course. I have achieved the three 'qualifying units' from the Level 6, to compliment the Level 4 LDSS and have professional indemnity insurance. Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, I am always happy to discuss future contracts and short term bespoke projects.
