Professional Experience Careers Guidance & Client Support • Provide impartial, individualised career guidance interviews and dynamic group workshops across educational levels, including KS3 and KS4 students, colleges, higher education institutions, and academies. • Deliver personalised support to individuals of all backgrounds and career stages—unemployed, employed, and retired—using approaches such as interviews, workshops, and online resources. • Maintain detailed, confidential client records within designated information systems and produce structured feedback and reports to inform school and senior management. Client Engagement & Outreach • Actively promote user involvement by organising and facilitating open days, induction sessions, cohort meetings, and other engagement events. • Generate and distribute content for career-related resources including websites, newsletters, and social media to support student and client engagement. Event Coordination & Project Management • Expertly plan and coordinate large-scale recruitment and employability events, including career fairs, employer panels, open days, guest speaker series, and campus visits. • Lead initiatives and special projects aimed at enhancing employability, placement opportunities, and student involvement in career-building activities. Service Level Management & Professional Development • Oversee the planning and evaluation of service agreements with schools, academies, colleges, and partner organizations to ensure effective service delivery. • Continuously update professional knowledge on local learning provision, labour market information (LMI), and best practices in career guidance. • Actively engage in professional networks and ongoing training, including conferences, employer site visits, and research. Workshop & Curriculum Design • Design and deliver interactive workshops and skills-based presentations tailored to enhance employability, career planning, and student confidence. • Produce research-driven reports on student experience and graduate employment, contributing insights to both national and international career guidance forums. Teaching & Academic Leadership • Qualified higher and further education lecturer, experienced in developing curricula, conducting seminars, tutorials, and creating assessment materials. • Skilled in managing small-scale improvement projects, including process review, strategic planning, and implementation of change initiatives.
