About Me

I have extensive experience developing and embedding Information, Advice and Guidance within a variety of statutory and voluntary organisations.

I socialise working with marginalised groups and currently support Refugees abs Asylum seekers. My work has involved offering advice and career guidance to young people and adults who may have barriers to progression. These include offending, drug and alcohol use, mild to enduring mental health issues and homelessness. I am reposnsible for developing and delivering both external training on IAG, working with offenders and supporting adults with high risk as well as designing and developing internal employability and work prgrammes to increase the work readiness of adults in centre.

I oversee IAG in the centre and create a step by step approach to accessing employment by creating internal opportunities, sourcing work experience, creating placements and developing new opportunities with key partners.

I use a range of career theories, adapting to clients needs and backgrounds to ensure student support and progression alongside coaching and client centred approaches to maxmise confidence in client progression.
