About Me

I started my working life as a trained actor and although I no longer tread the boards I am constantly benefiting from the communication and confidence the profession gave me. After leaving acting I struggled with various roles until stumbling on working with the long term unemployed and helping build their employability skills as well as ultimately finding work. I was good at it and became a centre manager and then area manager. Ultimately I felt that after visiting schools in my role I started blaming schools for not providing students with what they need for the world of work. When the opportunity to work in a school covering maternity arose, I took up the challenge and have not looked back. I enjoy putting everything I have learnt throughout my working life into practise to help others make better, more informed decisions than I made. Also, I love what I do.
