About Me

I've worked in recruitment, HR and professional guidance for nearly 25 years and seen both sides of the hiring process and I know what it's like to face life changes that prompt you to question what's next. After a redundancy experience in November 2024, I returned to the guidance profession with renewed energy, deeper experience to offer and a new confidence to share my skills. My inner critic has held me back for too long; but after supporting many friends and contacts through redundancy or sudden changes in circumstances, I realise I have skills to offer to others.

I have worked in the private, public and charity sectors, working in global enterprises and UK-based organisations; across different cultures. I currently work with students at secondary, FE and Special Educational Needs education institutions, both independent and state-funded. I work with those seeking Higher Education and those considering vocational training and employment. I have significant experience working with professionals seeking change when life suddenly changes the priority.

My strengths are in creating a space for you to share what is happening in a safe and supportive environment. Using a range of techniques together we collaborate on realistic next steps and cocreate an action plan, which we can refine over the sessions, as you become confident and gain clarity.
