About Me

I currently work as Director of Careers for the Stephen Longfellow Academy. I have over 12 years of experience working in careers with students in mainstream, alternative provision and specialist settings. As a L6 qualified Adviser, I have provided career advice, support and guidance for students and advised Senior Leaders and governors on careers policy and provision. I have specialist experience of working with students with SEND needs and those with barriers to post 16. I also have experience of working with NEET young people and supporting them to re-engage with education, employment and training opportunities. As a Careers Leader, I have managed and overseen several careers departments in different schools and have led on the careers strategy and delivery of outstanding school careers programmes, which have been seen as best practice by Oftsed.
