About Me
I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Community Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance. Currently, my professional focus is delivering Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to young people, identified as NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training). I am passionate about helping individuals overcome barriers and discover meaningful pathways into employment through education, apprenticeships, volunteering, and tailored support. I have extensive experience working in schools across Sussex, where I provided one-to-one and group career guidance to students in Years 10, 11, and 12 covering Gatsby benchmarks and keeping up to date with Career Theories and relevant policy. My role involved supporting students in exploring their options, preparing applications, and building confidence in their future choices. From 2015 to September 2020, I worked in New Jersey, USA, as a Substitute Teacher and Teaching Assistant. This international experience broadened my perspective on education systems and strengthened my adaptability in diverse learning environments. Prior to my tenure in the United States, I served as a Careers Adviser in London schools, where I guided students through the decision-making process regarding further education and career opportunities. My responsibilities included delivering assemblies, classroom sessions, small group workshops, and individual consultations. I also coordinated educational trips to higher education institutions, ensuring students gained valuable exposure to future opportunities.Method of delivery
