Rachel Gibbs-Halbert

About Me

I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Community Studies with a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance.

I am currently working in several schools in the Crawley area providing individual career guidance to Year 11 Students.  

From 2015 to September 16th 2020 I was working in schools in Montclair, New Jersey, USA as a Substitue Teacher and Teaching Assistant. 

Prior to my tenure in the US I was working in the UK as a Careers Adviser in London schools. The role involved educating students on options available to them, supporting their applications and sharing this data with relevant bodies. This work was conducted in assemblies, classrooms, small groups and one-to-one. In addition to these duties, I also organized educational school trips to a Higher Education institution.
