About Me
Penny McCartney – Career Development Professional | Tutor | Assessor | Supervisor | Career Guidance Consultant I am a Registered Career Development Professional with extensive experience across the education, careers, and employability sectors. I recently completed a Master’s in Career Development at the University of the West of England, where my research focused on the supervision experiences of career professionals a subject I’m passionate about and always happy to discuss. Currently, I work as a Tutor and Assessor supporting the Level 6 QCF Diploma/Apprenticeship in Career Development, helping the next generation of career professionals thrive. Alongside this, I deliver freelance Career Guidance and work on school contracts through the Education Development Trust (EDT). I also support the Quality in Careers Standard as a consultant, working with schools and organisations to ensure quality and impact in career programmes.
