About Me

My professional careers advice and coaching draws on 35 years in broadcasting as an award-winning Motion Designer and Design Director working for world renowned broadcasters, including The BBC and Sky TV. My industry design experience involved delivering design solutions using a variety of techniques from; 2D/3D animation, directing live action shoots, working with multi-disciplined artists and state of the art technologies. I managed multi-disciplined design teams, delivering creative content across branding, programme identity, promotions, sponsorship, products and online services. I have key professional experience of the recruitment process and in-depth understanding of what employers are looking for; from core creative & technical techniques to the all important interpersonal skills and expectations. So I’m able to offer highly practical advice, guidance and coaching across a wide variety of specialist skills, helping support and direct people towards their ideal career opportunities. Alongside my private careers practice I provide industry-focused creative advice & guidance at Brunel University's Design School on their Digital Design Media Courses and have taught design disciplines and offered careers guidance within a number of higher education institutions, schools and colleges.
