About Me
With nearly 20 years experience teaching in a secondary school in West Sussex, my career has evolved over time to include careers guidance, primarily for those choosing GCSEs, year 11s making the next steps into sixth form/college/employment, and sixth form students choosing their progression direction after L3/A-Level courses.
As my role evolved, I have completed with distinction the PGC in Careers Development and Coaching Studies at the University of Warwick. I also completed at Warwick the PGA Careers leader course with distinction, which undoubtedly helped me in winning the Outstanding careers leader award in 2019 for the Coast to Capital region.
My role now involves running and designing the careers programme in school, as well as delivering in house training and one to one guidance to pupils and staff regarding careers pathways.
