About Me

I have managed and delivered a vast range of careers employability projects in partnership with Local Authorities and The Metropolitan Police Service. I worked on a gang diversion programme in conjunction with the Metropolitan Police and on a GP Outreach Project in conjunction with a local authority which aimed at helping people with health problems gain support with employment or voluntary work to improve their job prospects. I have been a Senior Lone Parent Adviser working on an outreach basis helping parents and lone parents to get back into employment by supporting them with recognising and actioning barriers and providing expert advice to access childcare. I have worked on the National Careers service contract in the community and in a Cat B male prison setting. I have worked as Army Careers Adviser for the British Army providing guidance to Army soldiers and officers. I have provided intensive support to young people transitioning from pupil referral units (PRU’s) who were at risk of becoming NEET post 16. I supported them with enabling young people on my caseload to sustain further learning eg, college, post 16 alternative provisions, training eg, apprenticeships, traineeships and employment opportunities which ultimately would lead to fulfilled lives by realising their full potential and aspirations
