Nadiia Rawlings

About Me

I have been a Biomedical researcher in my previous career, with a PhD in Pharmacology. Thus, I do understand life and career building within academia well. Toward the end of my research career, I had been struggling with my vision for the future, and having my first child made it clear that something had to change. I was lost and struggled to understand what else I could do beyond the usual comfortable environment. Since then, I have dedicated my life to career coaching and career development, as I wish to help anyone in a similar situation. I have been working with secondary school students, as I feel it is a crucial moment in our lives. However, I volunteer at my grad school (not in the UK, so it doesn't have the same Career service support) by helping and supporting young PhD students and postdocs with their transition from academia.
