About Me

I am a level 7 qualified Careers Advisor and the Founder and Director of Elev8Careers Ltd, with over 20 years’ experience in careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG). I have worked with thousands of young people and schools, colleges, employers and community organisations to design and deliver innovative careers programmes that help young people understand their options, build confidence and make informed decisions about their futures.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about widening access to high-quality careers guidance and creating engaging, inclusive approaches that connect young people with the world of work. I have delivered bespoke careers programmes across a wide range of settings (from PRUs to private schools, multinationals corporations to charities), supporting institutions to strengthen their careers provision and embed meaningful employer encounters, skills development and labour market information.

As Founder and Director of Elev8Careers, I lead a team delivering careers education and guidance services to schools and colleges, working in partnership with education providers, employers and other stakeholders. My work includes the development of innovative resources and programmes such as Get Career Confident and The Possibility Pack, designed to inspire curiosity, broaden horizons and support young people to explore the relationship between subjects, skills, sectors and future opportunities.

I am committed to evidence informed practice and to contributing to the continued professionalisation of the careers sector. I regularly share practice, support collaboration among careers professionals and develop resources that align with the Gatsby Benchmarks and national careers education priorities.

My particular interests include creative approaches to careers learning, social mobility, employer engagement and ensuring every person has access to high-quality careers support that enables them to recognise and achieve their potential.
