About Me

I am a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser and tutor with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Health Studies. I have extensive experience working in school careers provision as well as with post-16 and adult education providers. Currently, I work with students both in school as a career adviser and helping young people who don’t follow traditional educational pathways for whatever reason. This can sometimes be simply due to choosing the wrong course and disengaging, health reasons, or just because they really don’t know what to choose. Work I am able to provide includes: Career planning and 1 to 1 careers guidance. Small / Large group work and programme delivery. Delivery of assemblies along with support for parents and option evenings. Working with parents, carers and school staff to support individual student needs. Design and development of career programmes to inspire young people. Event planning West Sussex County Council works with young people across the whole county. We provide high-quality services to schools, educational organisations and NEET young people aged 16 – 24. Supporting them to meet the requirements of the Careers Strategy, which includes the Gatsby Benchmarks. We offer a range of traded services as well as our NEET provision, while seeking to build our network and strengthen links between education and business.
