About Me

I have over 20 years experience as a fully qualified careers adviser working in mainstream and specialist settings.

Most of the work I do as an independent careers adviser is with students and their parents/carers who are on roll in special schools in Warwickshire, although I do work in mainstream schools too. Part of the week I am employed by SMBC as a specialist careers adviser working with young people who are NEET, on the Youth Promise Plus project.

Meeting clients virtually or talking over the phone has enabled me to work in a more flexible way during the pandemic and has worked surprisingly well.  Face to face meetings will resume at some point in the future!
