About Me

With over 21 years experience supporting individuals to progress into education, training and employment, and over 10 years leadership experience as an Information, Advice and Guidance Manager, I currently lead a high impact, outcomes focused careers service within the public sector. I am responsible for overseeing the management and development of a team of careers advisors and ensuring consistently high quality practice through coaching, supervision, reflective practice and continuous improvement.

I bring deep expertise in career development practice, including guidance interviewing, action planning, labour market insight, progression pathways and employability development. I am passionate about translating career development knowledge into practical, empowering support, helping individuals build confidence, identify strengths, make informed decisions and sustain positive outcomes.

My leadership experience includes service and operational management, programme design and delivery, partnership and stakeholder engagement across education, employers and community services, and the effective use of data to monitor performance, evaluate impact and drive improvement. I have extensive experience supporting people with complex barriers, co ordinating multi agency pathways, and ensuring robust safeguarding and risk management.
