I'm a Registered Careers Development Professional (RCDP) and I coordinate the Careers Programme at a sixth form college, supporting students in their career management and readiness. I also work with several departments to help create and deliver tailored careers opportunities for their students. With over sixteen years' experience as a secondary school English teacher, both in England and Australia, I have proven myself to be a tenacious, conscientious and personable individual who thrives on eliciting the best performance in others. I have a life-long zest for learning, and retrained as a careers professional, so that I could continue to utilise my strengths in an educational setting, to empower others to recognise and prosper from their own, within a careers framework. Excelling in both oral and written communication, I have particular skills in establishing relationships, and in creating innovative, functional resources that optimise productivity in both my clients and colleagues. I am a reflective practitioner who grows from setbacks and I'm renowned for my resilience and tact when managing challenging scenarios.
