About Me

I am an Independent Careers Guidance Professional with over 20 years of experience working for a large careers organisation (Careers South West) and a training provider.  I currently work within 5 of the Ted Wragg Trust secondary schools in Exeter providing 1-1 interviews and Careers Guidance services.  I completed my Level 6 Diploma mandatory units in Career Guidance and Development in April 2016, hold an NVQ Level 4 in Advice and Guidance and a Personal Adviser Diploma.

I can offer a tailored package to meet your schools' needs and budget: including 1-1 guidance interviews, small/large group work sessions and enhanced transition services (for young people who are more vulnerable, with SEN needs, receive pupil premium, young carers, EAL etc).  I can work with other providers such as Next Steps South West to access funding opportunities.

I provide personal and targeted support, giving information, advice and guidance to students of all abilities to support them through decision making from year 8 options, to post 16 choices and assisting with job and UCAS applications.  I am experienced in working with employers and supporting students fo find an apprenticeship, offerring job hunting, CV writing, employment and interview skills support.

I am also experienced in providing support to senior school leaders with the development of their careers programmes, policies and to meet the Gatsby Benchmark standards.  Services can be purchased on a regular weekly basis or adhoc; please contact me for further information.
