About Me

My professional experience spans a broad landscape of careers and employability work, including providing careers guidance and employability support in secondary, further, and higher education; supporting adults across public, private, and community settings; leading careers provision; and contributing to the development of employability strategy in educational settings on a consultancy basis.

What I enjoy most in my work is helping people move beyond the factors that hold them back, whether those arise from external circumstances or from self-limiting beliefs. In my guidance practice, I draw on strengths-based and cognitive approaches that support individuals to examine and reframe assumptions, recognise their capabilities, and make informed, confident decisions about their progress.

I currently work as an Employability & Careers Adviser at Anglia Ruskin University (Cambridge). While I do not currently offer private paid careers or employability services, I am keen to contribute pro bono to initiatives that support social mobility and widen access to high-quality careers guidance and employability support.
