About Me

I am a school based Careers Adviser who is employed by Northfleet School for Girls to help pupils aged 11 to 18 explore, review and progress their career.

With over 35 years experience in secondary education in a wide range of roles, teacher of Design, Technology, Head of Careers, Careers Leader and Careers Adviser I deliver activities such as one-to -one and group guidance and assemblies.

In addition to being a fully qualified teacher with 20 years teaching experience I am qualified to Level 6 in Careers Guidance and Level 6 in Careers Leadership.

Working within a school environment enables me to get to know the student sand provide them with impartial careers guidance throughout their time at school. I am passionate about supporting individuals and enabling them to make informed decisions about their next steps.

I plan, organise and run the annual careers fair for the whole school. I also write the schools Careers Blog which is accessible to the public and well as the whole school community.
