About Me
A qualified Careers Adviser with a post graduate diploma in careers guidance and over 25 years’ experience who has enjoyed working with both young people and adults. Currently Head of Careers and Higher Education Guidance at Sutton High School and responsible for leading, developing and managing CEIAG, post 18 applications including UCAS and references, and the work experience programme. Previously worked to facilitate the achievement of the Quality in Careers Standard (QCS) in my role as Careers Lead at Wallington County Grammar School.Substantial experience of working with clients on a one-to-one basis and through group work in a variety of settings including a youth club, both comprehensive and grammar schools, special needs institutions and colleges. Ability to build a rapport and motivate young people from the age of four through to adulthood demonstrated through sustained voluntary work in addition to paid employment.
