About Me
Level 6 RCDP currently working in a Multi-Academy Trust mainstream secondary school and sixth form centre, in a dual role as both Careers Lead and Career Guidance Advisor. Working extensively and collaboratively with key stakeholders, local and national employers, and education and independent training providers, I deliver 1:1 guidance and group careers education through engaging, interactive, and exciting careers events, activities and life skills programmes.Prior to moving into education I held a senior leadership role within a global Professional Services firm as a Business Development Director focussed on technology and telecoms client accounts and held a lead role delivering the ‘South of the UK’ element of a national entrepreneurs’ programme.
I am passionate about ensuring our young people have access to high quality, impartial and accurate careers education and information, and seek to gently challenge stereotypes, broaden horizons, raise aspirations and nurture the development of life, career and transition skills. I work with a number of SEN and NEET/RON students and have developed excellent relationships with local external agencies for the benefit of those I work with. My preference is always to meet with a client in person, but virtual and telephone delivery can be accommodated if appropriate.
