About Me

Hi, I am Lionne - a Level 7 qualified Careers Practitioner and the founder of ACE To Employment (Advice, Careers, Education). I support both young people and adults - from school-age students navigating post-16 and university options, to adults seeking career change, re-entry into work, or progression in their field. With over 20 years of experience, I have worked across schools, sixth forms, local authorities, employability programmes, and government-funded services. My work focuses on delivering high-impact 1:1 guidance across UCAS and international university applications, vocational and apprenticeship routes, CV and cover letter development, mock interviews, and job application support. I also design and deliver bespoke careers and employability programmes, collaborating with schools, employers, and community partners to meet specific organisational or learner needs. One of my proudest moments was being shortlisted for the ERSA Advisor of the Year Award, in recognition of my ability to support clients into sustainable employment. I have a strong track record of meeting and often exceeding ambitious performance targets, while continuing to provide personalised, ethical, and inclusive guidance. My practice is grounded in the Career Development Institute's Code of Ethics and informed by frameworks such as the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring the guidance I offer is both student-centred and strategically aligned. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss how I can support your school, organisation, or service users.
