About Me

Hi, I’m Lionne - an independent Level 7 qualified Careers Practitioner with over 20 years’ experience in careers guidance, employability and education, and Founder of ACE To Employment (Advice, Careers & Education).

I support young people and adults at different stages of their education and career journeys – from students exploring post-16 and post-18 options, university, apprenticeships and vocational pathways, to adults navigating career change, returning to work or seeking progression.

My experience spans schools, sixth forms, local authorities, employability programmes and government-funded services. I provide personalised 1:1 careers guidance, career exploration and action planning, UCAS and higher education support, apprenticeship and vocational pathways, CV and application development, interview preparation and employability support. I also design and deliver bespoke careers programmes in collaboration with schools, employers and community partners.

A career highlight was being named a finalist for the ERSA Adviser of the Year Award, recognising my work supporting individuals towards sustainable employment.
I believe effective careers guidance is not about telling someone what they should do, but helping them understand their options, recognise their potential and make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

My practice is underpinned by the Career Development Institute’s Code of Ethics and informed by the Gatsby Benchmarks, with impartial, inclusive and person-centred guidance at the heart of my work.
