About Me

Since completing my level 6  professional careers guidance qualification many years ago (Dip CG parts 1 & 2), I have consistently worked in schools, FE and HE institutions and with private clients offering careers education, information and guidance in both 1-2-1 and group settings.  I am also experienced in creating wider careers education plans for institutions in line with current policy and I hold QTS so have a real understanding of how educational establishments work.

 Alongside careers guidance, I am also a qualified Coach having completed my Masters Degree in Coaching in 2018 and have a private careers coaching practice, successfully splitting my time between career coaching and outplacement, life & business coaching and careers guidance in schools.  This enables me to always offer current information on the labour market and educational opportunities, and means my coaching and careers ‘toolbox’ is always up-to-date and vibrant. 

 Always working to the CDI code of ethics, I enjoy working with all age ranges and creating excellent working relationships with students, teachers, employers and parents.  I am always flexible in my approach as all young people, adults and even institutions are individual in their needs. 

I can offer 1-2-1 and group guidance/workshops and work comfortably in person, on the telephone or via Zoom, Google Classroom, Skype, Teams or other platform.  I pride myself on creating rapport quickly, and making clients feel comfortable whichever environment we are in so that we can assess their needs efficiently and together find a great way forward for them to achieve positive outcomes.
