About Me

My passion for careers education stems from a firm belief in its power to transform student potential into purposeful action. I view careers guidance not as an add-on, but as an integral thread woven into the fabric of the secondary curriculum. This commitment is fueled by the desire to help every young person navigate the complex transition from education to employment or further study, making informed choices that align with their strengths and aspirations.

My approach is built on principles of excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration. This is demonstrated by our recent achievement of the Quality in Careers Standard Gold Award, a national recognition of the high quality and impact of our provision. Furthermore, our engagement in rigorous internal reviews and peer-to-peer (P2P) meetings through the Careers & Enterprise Company (C&EC) underscores my commitment to evidence-based practice and maintaining a program that is both current and exceptionally effective. Ultimately, my greatest motivation is seeing students equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build their own successful futures.
