About Me

I have significant experience in career guidance, well-being, teaching and education. I am a qualified teacher, a first class honours guidance and counselling graduate and a level 6 qualified careers adviser. I am currently a Careers Adviser with CareerWave meaning I can deliver careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) support and sessions to students within secondary schools, colleges and sixth forms. This mainly involves year 11 and sixth form appts. However, I also see years 7-10 on a regular basis for different purposes such as careers group work and option choices for GCSEs. As well as my secondary school guidance appointments, I have also been an integral part in developing CareerWave's Primary School Careers offer. I have taught and developed primary careers lessons as well as primary staff CPD sessions and CPD sessions for CareerWave staff too. Lessons are focused on the core theme of career as a journey focusing on defining career, transitions through life, LMI and personal strengths and development. I have also previously worked with adults as part of a careers coaching provision for potentially NEET young adults ages 18-25.
