About Me
With over thirteen years' experience as a secondary school English teacher, I have proven myself to be a tenacious, conscientious, and personable individual who thrives on eliciting the best performance in others. I have a life-long zest for learning, and left full time teaching to retrain as a careers professional, so that I could continue to utilise my strengths in an educational setting to empower others to recognise and prosper from their own, within a careers framework. Excelling in both oral and written communication, I have particular skill in establishing relationships, and in creating innovative, functional resources that optimise productivity in both my clients and colleagues. Renowned for my resilience and tact when managing challenging scenarios, I am a reflective practitioner who grows from setbacks. I am now an HE careers consultant, and am supporting students and graduates in their career management and readiness. I also work with several departments to help create and deliver tailored careers education programmes for their students.Method of delivery
